RCR Advantage

RCR Advantage

  • Environmentally sustainable process with a 44 year commercially proven history and engagement in the global waste industry and environmental engineering sector.
  • Clean technology (often known as Cleantech) has widely been adopted by a large number of industrial concerns, countries, states, municipalities and town.
  • Cost effective technology portfolio of over 100 plants installed and operating.
  • Considerable flexibility with little volume limitation on plant design, throughputs etc since the design is entirely modular that avoids any risk of catastrophic failure with other modules continuing to operate as prescribed. The modular approach does allow for additional process lines to be added as the market or demand grows and reduces front end risk to the sponsor.
  • Proven delivery of tire decosnruction plants to reduce them to base components of quality cleaned steel, carbon black/activated carbon, hydrocarbon gas and No 2 Fuel oil that has the characteristics of ultra low sulphur diesel (D2), plastics depolymerisation (plastics to liquid and gaseous hydrocarbon fuels).
  • RCR relies upon proven skills and technological component selection and delivery from 56 world-class engineering companies and a number of EPC contractors who provide on site assembly, commissioning, start up and handover.
  • RCR provides performance bonds, delayed start indemnity, process risk assurance, guarantees on throughput and outputs, together with $500 million of environmental indemnity insurance, $500 million of third party liability and a wide and full capital value cover for flood, explosion, hurricane, tsunami and even breakdown or interruption of business. All policies underwritten by Lloyds of London and dependent upon ultimate destination, industrial unrest and political risk can be included.
  • RCR is also able to produce funding for each project on a stand alone basis and will in some cases be happy to enter into a joint venture with the other party to secure funding and the turnkey delivery.
  • Dependent upon the process required and the supply lead times from key equipment suppliers and importantly permitting and site licenses at the proposed location, turnkey delivery can be as low as 4 months to as much as 15 months for waste processing solutions, modular energy facilities could be as much as 18 months and used oil recovery and re-refining to produce base oil is around 9 months.
